Our story

PayFlowAI started from a simple observation: talented people were spending hours every week doing something they hated, chasing down payments for work they'd already completed.

We watched freelancers and small business owners agonize over the perfect follow-up email. We saw them check their bank accounts multiple times a day, hoping overdue payments had finally landed. We heard them talk about the anxiety of not knowing when, or if, they'd get paid.

The problem wasn't that people didn't want to pay. It was that manual invoice tracking and follow-ups are time-consuming, awkward, and easy to forget. So we asked ourselves: what if AI could handle all of this?

That question led to PayFlowAI, an AI assistant that tracks every invoice, sends perfectly-timed reminders, and predicts payment behavior. It's not just software. It's your tireless advocate for getting paid on time.

Where we're headed is simple: the agent becomes the interface. Today you reach it through the command bar, just describe what you want and it does the work. Over time you'll reach the same agent on mobile, in chat, and through the tools you already use, while the app stays your place to review and override. Less clicking through screens, more just saying what you need.

I've spent a big chunk of my career working independently, consulting, contracting, doing project work for companies of all sizes. And if there's one thing that never stopped being painful, it was following up on invoices. Sending a polite reminder. Waiting. Sending another one. Wondering if you were being annoying. Wondering if you'd ever get paid.

I built PayFlowAI because I got tired of it. Not tired of the work, I loved the work. Tired of the admin, the awkwardness, the mental load of tracking who owes what and when to nudge them. I wanted something that would just handle it, professionally and quietly, so I could focus on doing great work and trusting the money would follow.
